Q: International Shipping
Do you ship internationally?
A:
As of May 1st, 2008, we are now offering International and Canadian shipping. Please note that the cart may not configure the correct shipping charges and you will be billed any excess shipping before your order goes out. International and Canadian orders are exempt from the shipping schedule posted on the website and are only shipped out on Saturdays, due to the ever rising cost of gas. Insurance is STRONGLY suggested on International and Canadian orders. In the case of an international credit card order, the order will be held after the credit card is charged to insure that it is a valid credit card and the card is not fraudulent. The normal processing time for a credit card transaction is 3 business days. On the fourth day, the order will be ready to ship, barring any complications with the credit card. IF we charge the credit card and the AVS comes back as 'no match', the order will be held for an additional week to ensure that the transaction is a VALID one and not a fraudulent one. This is for everyone's protection against fraud. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Q: Damaged Items
I received an item that was damaged. What is your policy on damaged items?
A:
Items sent via USPS without insurance will be replaced at my discretion. Please save all packaging as the post office or UPS may request to see them. Please contact USPS or UPS to process your claim.
Q: Returns
I received an item I want to return. What is your policies on returning items?
A:
If I ship an item incorrectly, please contact me immediately so I can correct the problem. If an incorrect item was ordered, please see below:
Bath and Body Products
Due to the nature of the item and hygenic reasons, bath and body products are non-returnable.
Warmers Unused tart warmers can be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt, HOWEVER, they must be in their original box & resaleable condition. We will not accept returns on used warmers. If the item was broken while in transit, please contact me right away.
Q: Insurance/Lost/Damaged items
What are your policies regarding insurance?
A:
Your order will be packaged with care and every effort will be made to see that your order arrives safely and in great condition. However, once the carrier takes possession of the package, anything can happen. For that reason, we offer insurance at an additional charge. If you would like to purchase insurance for your package, please click the insurance button on the left to select your coverage.
Q: Time in Transit
Once my order ships, how long will it take to get here?
A:
The Bella Bug Boutique is centrally located in the US in the state of Missouri, so shipping times vary from 1-5 business days depending on where you live. We ship via First Class, Parcel Post and Priority Mail. Some heavier orders will ship via UPS.
Q: Shipping Time
How long will it take before my order ships?
A:
UPDATED 1/29/07 We now have a shipping schedule in place, so you know when to expect to receive your shipping notice. If your order does not ship on or before the day specified (excluding holidays), you will receive a $5 credit on your account. The schedule applies to NON CUSTOM items ONLY. Items not covered under the new shipping policy include: WAHM samples, non stock items, any item with a custom scent, wholesale orders and orders placed while the store is closed.

PLEASE NOTE: We will ship to Canada, however Canadian orders are excluded from the shipping schedule as those orders have to be taken into the post office. Due to the ever rising cost of gas, Canadian orders are shipped once a week on Saturdays.
Q: Shipping Charges
What are the shipping charges for orders placed on your site?
A:
As of 4/1/08: Due to the addition of the mineral makeup, the old shipping charges were way too high for such light items. I have now gone to "real time" shipping. I have been testing this to different zip codes to ensure that the weights are set up correctly and shipping should not be much more than what you have been paying. If you notice that your shipping charges are outrageously high, please let me know so I can make adjustments. Also, the cart cannot tell if an order will fit in a flat rate Priority Mail box and if I can ship flat rate, I will and credit you the difference. I do still have free shipping on orders over $25. The cart cannot take off the shipping on orders over $25, so if your total is over $25, please select "Customer Pickup" to remove the shipping. I hate paying shipping as much as the next person, but unfortunately it is a necessary evil. Remember, I will adjust and credit as needed, so please do not hesitate to contact me.
Q: Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
A:
The Bella Bug Boutique accepts RME, Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express via secure server, along with Money Orders.
For a RME (Revolution Money Exchange) payment, please click on the RME option, enter your RME address in the appropriate box at checkout and a money request will be sent to you.
For a Paypal payment, click the Paypal option.
For a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Amex payment, click the Secured Credit Card option and follow the steps listed.
For a Money Order payment, upon receipt of your order, the address for payment to be remitted to will be sent to you.
