Title: New Contact Number
Due to the instability of our previous service provider, we now have new phone service and a new phone number. The new number is 1-888-684-8380 or you can click to call using the button on our contact page. There is also a click to call button located on each page of the website on the left hand side of the navigation bar.
The click to call feature is easy to use! Simply click the button, enter your phone number and the system will do the rest :)
During normal business hours, your call will be answered as quickly as possible. After hours and on weekends, the phone forwards to our voice mail system. Please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible.

Title: WAHM Samples
Due to a large order that we are filling, the WAHM Samples have been taken out of stock for approximately 1-2 weeks.
In the meantime, the WAHM Sample Slot item is open, and you can put a deposit down to hold your spot for when we are ready to fill more samples. WAHMs who purchase a slot will be the first in line when customs reopen and customs will remain closed until those orders are filled as well. I have left all of the samples up, so that you can see what types of samples I offer.
There is a new variety pack that will be added shortly, along with a couple of other new sample items as well :)

Where did the RME buttons go?
I still accept RME, no worries :) I had to take the buttons down this morning since their website was down and the missing buttons were generating a script error on my website. I will put the buttons back up again as soon as their site is back up, although I think I am going to host the buttons myself so I don't have this issue again.

Title: Simmer Pot Recall
I have been alerted to a recall on tart warmers and wanted to give everyone a heads up on this even though I've never carried this particular brand or style on my site. Apparently these warmers have issues with the wire connections coming loose, which can cause electric shock or fires. You can find out more information on how to check to see if your burner is on the list at http://www.simmerpotrecall.com/. Even if your burner is not on the recall list, please always remember to use caution with your electric and tealight burners! Safety first!

~*~ Policy Changes ~*~
Shipping Changes: Due to the addition of the mineral makeup, the old shipping charges were way too high for such light items. I have now gone to "real time" shipping. I have been testing this to different zip codes to ensure that the weights are set up correctly and shipping should not be much more than what you have been paying. If you notice that your shipping charges are outrageously high, please let me know so I can make adjustments. Also, the cart cannot tell if an order will fit in a flat rate Priority Mail box and if I can ship flat rate, I will and credit you the difference. I do still have free shipping on orders over $25. The cart cannot take off the shipping on orders over $25, so if your total is over $25, please select "Customer Pickup" to remove the shipping. I hate paying shipping as much as the next person, but unfortunately it is a necessary evil. Remember, I will adjust and credit as needed, so please do not hesitate to contact me. Turn around times are still as stated on the website and I will strive to meet those more consistantly than I have in the past.
Office Hours: I also have new office hours in place, now that I am in the office more. The new office hours are 12 pm to 4 pm CST, Monday through Friday. The live help feature should be available during those times, as well as others as I am available.
Payments: Payment methods have been updated to include RME (Revolution Money Exchange) as well as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express via our secure server, Paypal and Money Orders.

Title: New "Business" Hours
Effective 6/22/07, we have new business hours. I know they look rather weird, however, due to some changes in my schedule, these are the best hours to contact me via phone or live support. Please note that these changes are just to the phone and live support business hours, email support is still open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Should you not receive a reply to an email within 24 hours of your contact, please do feel free to email me again, as emails (mine or yours) can get lost in cyberspace.

Title: New Items
It has been a while since I updated the blog to reflect the fact that we are now stocking on both the main site and also on Hyena Cart! All new scents and items are being stocked over on the Hyena Cart, where they stay until the end of the month, then the new items/scents are moved over here. I am also stocking "Semi Custom" WAHM samples over there too. The "Semi Custom" WAHM Samples are basically already made and all I have to do is customize the tag for the WAHM and assemble the finished product. This has made turn around time on the samples much faster, easier on me and is better for the WAHM as they get their items quicker. I am so loving it! I am also thinking about stocking a set of each over here too, just in case WAHM do not have a Hyena Cart account. Be on the lookout for those here soon!
Some of the new items we have added are soy wax votives. Votives were going to be a special edition type item like the scented tealights, but I am having a lot of fun making them, so they are going to be a permanent fixture around here ;) I will be stocking more of them soon.
Scented tealights have also made a comeback. I believe I will be stocking more of those here soon also.

Well after a much, much longer than anticipated Christmas break, I am back and better than ever! I have huge news and a lot of it to share, so grab a cup of tea or coffee, this is going to be a looooooong post!

Things have gotten off to a very rough start this year, beginning with DH getting sick. Then I got sick, the kids got sick and I wound up trying to take care of everyone and be sick at the same time. I literally have not felt 100% since Christmas. And as if dealing with 6 sick people wasnt enough, my computer got a virus, my home network went down and my DSL was running slow as molasses. We got the kids better and we got rid of the computer virus, but had to have the phone wiring inside the house redone and replace the DSL modem. So this leads me to my next topic

I would like to welcome a new member to my team! 3 days a week, I have a helper coming in to pull, pack and ship orders. While we were on hiatus dealing with the power outages (amongst other things), a lot of the tarts we had in stock were turned funny colors...possibly due to the heat. Other than the cosmetic flaws, these are the same heavily scented tarts we always stock! Not all of them are ugly, but a lot of them are. I`m just too lazy to seperate them out LOL so my laziness is your gain! I have marked all the tarts down AND with this code: UGLYTARTS you can save an extra 10% off!
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
Effective immediately, our Live Support feature, as well as our Phone Support hours, will change. The hours these 2 features will be available are from 2 pm to 4 pm Central time.
